hi there. isa lang ang municipality of balete sa batangas. katabi sya ng lipa city, going to taal lake. if you're going there, you need to go to lipa city. along the highway before you reach Lipa City hall (if you are from Manila), you need to turn right in Brgy. Marauoy. There is a big sign that says LEVITOWN, and there is a gasoline station on the corner. It's the JP Laurel highway, connecting Lipa City to Balete Batangas. Then just go straight for several kilometers till you reach the end, which is the Taal Lake already...

Is there a Balete River? Is it the Palsara River at the mouth of which a dike can be seen from the offshore? Our boatman called the river Balete R. Is it the Palsara R. whose banks have been lately improved with concrete and rocks?
